This compilation album was released in Portland only in 1985 as a charity record to raise money for African hunger relief and Porltland charities. It features a charity song – ‘Keep Giving To The World’. Dan Reed sings a line on this.

The line that Dan sings on “Keep Giving To The World” is: “Keep giving your best shot / Keep singing ’til the dying stops / Call it what you want to / But I call it….

Dan’s section is the second, following Dick Peterson of The Kingsmen and predeeding Bill Rancher of Flesh & Blood.

The album also includes the song that was Dan Reed Network’s first single, released on Tandees Records in 1985 – ‘Eye On You’. This features the original keyboard player – Jeff Siri. The song was re-recorded with the new keyboard player, Rick DiGiallonardo for the Breathless album.

The cassette of this album features an extra track – “Thinking Zebra” by Billy Rancher’s Flesh And Blood.

A video was made for “Keep Giving To The World” and was available on the Z100 15 years of crap CD & DVD collection – which also featured Dan Reed & Portland Trailblazer’s ‘Bust A Bucket’ video; and Dan Reed track “1999 (Millennium Mix)”.

Dan Reed and Melvin Brannon provide backing vocals on Calvin Walker’s album. One of the tracks from that album – “Slow, Slow Down” is on this album.
