Notes:

Slam was the album that should have propelled Dan Reed Network into the big time. Critics raved about the Nile Rodgers produced album and for many it is seen as the definitive DRN album.

During the lifetime of the album, DRN supported Bon Jovi and the Rolling Stones. Dan also expressed his individuality with a change of image from the long hair to no hair.

One track recorded for this album but dropped was a song called 'Let There Be No More Walls Between Us' - said to be too funky and too different for 'Slam'

The night before the video shoot for 'Rainbow Child' was the night that Dan Reed decided to shave his head
