WHO AM I ?

My name is Amrik Kerketta, and I'm from London, England - hence the reason I chose the name of the site. I'm just a Dan Reed Network fan. I'm a Web Developer for an organization called English Heritage and previously worked for Rock Circus and then Madame Tussaud's where I was lucky enough to meet various rock stars and other celebrities from Michael Jackson to KISS and Lenny Kravitz.

WHY DAN REED NETWORK ?

Quite simply because they were the ultimate band - good tunes, lyrics and funky rock music. I came across them thanks to my best friend Andrzej deciding we needed something with a bit more groove for the car. This was in 1988 and I've been listening to them ever since. I've seen them in several times in the UK. After the split, I never really knew what happened until a Kerrang 'Where are they now ?' article and a trip into a Stockholm record shop in 1998 and I came across the Live at Last CD - couldn't believe my eyes - maybe I'll post the pic my girlfriend of the time took of my jaw dropping. This re-awakened my interest, and I came across Anthony's excellent original site. My own little corner of the web was then an inevitability. It has just taken a bit of a while to get here. Hope you like it.
