Dan Pred was the drummer in the Dan Reed Network,
responsible for drums and drum programming.
With Melvin Brannon, Dan Pred was the powerhouse of
the Dan Reed Network, providing the driving rhythms to their unique
sound.
With Dan Reed, Brion James, and Melvin Brannon up
front, it was easy to overlook Dan, but don't be misled. Dan Pred
was a real driving force in the band.
Dan Pred did not need extended rock star drum solos
- his recorded and live output said it all - from the driving rock
of 'Make It Easy' to the calm rhythms of 'Let It Go'.
Long after the end of the Dan Reed Network, Dan Pred,
along with Blake Sakamoto, was able to give something back to the
fans with the Live at Last video and CD through his production company.
