After Dan Reed Network, Blake supplied keyboards for several bands and produced or co-produced a number of albums, including one by Neil Zaza, and Dan Reed Network: Live At Last! Halfway Around The World, with Dan Pred

In 1996, Blake of course, joined Generator, with Dan Pred, and Rob Daiker. They recorded an album (Generator) and toured the North West. Generator became Fashion Brain, releasing an album on Eon Records.

Epic Records heard Fashion Brain and signed the group. Fashion Brain became Slowrush, and recorded an album, Volume.

Blake and Dan both left Slowrush following payment issues for their forthcoming tour - Epic only had a low budget for this first time tour as the band were untested. These difficulties led to Blake and Dan playing their last Slowrush show at the CD release party at Ohm club, Portland, on 22 February 2000.

Since then, Blake has been busy with projects in Portland.

The main one is with Black Barrel (formed by ex-Animotion member Bill Wadhams).

On the live circuit, Blake has also supplied keyboards and vocals with 28 If, the Brian Cutler Band and the reformed Animotion at a gig in August 2001.

In the studio, Blake produced and played keyboards for the Sue Owen Project in 2001.
